EV Sessions
To tout the IONIQ 5 and its ability to power almost anything, we launched a battle of the bands on TikTok, choosing 3 up and coming artists to compete for likes and a chance to win a new car. The only catch? Their performance had to be powered by the Hyundai IONIQ 5 using its reverse charging feature.
This first-ever music competition garnered a ton of buzz for the brand and the artists, earning the winner a shoutout and feature at the iHeart Music Festival. But my favorite part is how we hacked the platform by using our KPIs as currency - turning every like and comment into a vote and organically boosting engagement rates.
